Buffalo Horn Scales

These buffalo horn scales are smooth flat on all sides. You will see some occasional white streaks.

Sand these to 400 grit and then buff them up to a high polish gloss. They will look amazing. Keep them cool when buffing.

Tip: Cut these into squares and use them as spacers in your hidden tang knife handles.

Tip: When grinding, keep these cool to keep any curl to a minimum. You can't get natural material flat if it is hot. You will just keep chasing a curl that disappears when it cools off.
