Inverted Edge Tactics by Mercop

Inverted Edge Tactics should not be confused with any other material that covers the use of edged weapons for personal protection. It has no fancy moves and there is no "art" to it.

IET is based on the belief that if the time comes when you have to use a blade to defend yourself you will be within reach of someone who wants to kill you, and the tactics that you choose need to be reliable and effective under stress. IET works with all edged tools from muli-tools to to folding knives

The concepts in IET differ from other schools of thought in that they are based on protecting the user from exposing the weaknesses in their anatomy while exploiting those of their attacker.

Great care should be taken during any training. IET should be restricted to those persons that are at least 18 years of age.
