2105-01 Removes grease, waxes, lacquers and top finishes allowing uniform application of dyes and finishes. Deglazer won't impair the softness or flexibility of leather. It is ORM-D and must be shipped by ground. |
Tip: When dyeing, use a piece of terry cloth rag that is well soaked. Use Deglazer on vegetable tanned (don't use Chrome tanned leather on knife sheaths, it will leave black corrosion marks on your knives) leather to allow the dye to take more evenly. I also spritz the leather with water so it is uniformly slightly damp. This helps keep the streaks down.
