Metal Rake for Buff wheels

Tip: Many buffing compounds (greaseless) are applied 'wet' to a wheel and left to dry. Some times you want to use a wheel with another compound or the previous coating needs to be stripped and reapplied. This is the tool for that. Turn the buffer on (remember it's the most dangerous tool in the shop!) and push the rake teeth into the buff hard enough to strip out the old coatings.

Tip: Use different wheels for different grits of brush on compound. The compounds are colored for a reason. So you don't mix up the grits.
