Ruler 6" Flex

 Tip: Expoxy a small magnet on the end of this and slap it on your grinder. I keep two of these stuck there in case one wanders away for awhile. When I grind a knife blade, I use these rulers with the little slider to measure the grind lines to see they are both the same distance from the spine. I can usually eyeball to with in 3 to 5 thou but this gets me right down to 1 or 2 thousands.
